Group Health Insurance
Health insurance provided to members of a group of persons, as employees of one or more employers or members of associations or labor unions. The term is usually used to distinguish this type of health insurance from individual health insurance. One master contract is written to cover the group.Group Dental Insurance
Capitation Dental Plans – HMO: A capitation dental insurance plan, where a dentist is contracted to provide dental treatment for the dental plan's enrolled members. The provider dentist is paid, generally monthly, a fixed amount per individual who has selected them to provide their dental treatment. In return it is the dentist's compulsion is to provide any and all needed dental cure for these persons throughout this time outline. Dental Preferred Provider Organizations: The insurance company contracts with dentists so to form a network of treatment providers. Exclusive Provider Organization: Exclusive Provider Organizations are another form of "closed panel" dental insurance plan. They are similar in nature to dental PPO's with the exception that you are offered no option other than receiving your dental treatment from a dentist who is a member of the dental insurance company's network of providers. Group Life Insurance
Group life insurance is generally accessible as part of employee benefits, such as group health, group life, or group long-term and short-term disability insurance. Some employers automatically will issue group life insurance. Other employers may be eager to pay only a certain amount of money for benefits, and employees will be able to select which benefits they receive.
